The Associated General Contractors of America
Our client has a respected economist on staff. Our charge was to help him craft a program that would reach out to construction contractors across the country and present the current economic state of the industry, why a firm needs to know this, and a trended outlook. Teaming up with two other of the country's leading experts on the cost and supply issues of construction materials, we created an interactive audio conference. Besides planning, design, and technical arrangements, we supplied event marketing, advertisement, and on-air facilitation.
The program, Creating Realistic Owner Expectations: Talking Turkey Without Foregoing the Gravy was attended by participants from across the country, Canada, and Mexico, with coverage by more than 30 media outlets. The program received rave reviews, broke client attendance records, and earned our client healthy revenues.

Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association, Inc. (SMACNA)
In the construction industry many jobs lose money from changes in projects and the inability of the contractors and subcontractors to recover costs. Our client chose ISDS (now Scher Progession LLC) to adapt their print-based book, Guidelines for Change Orders, to a multimedia CD-ROM format. This product helps subcontractors obtain payment for their extra project services that often go unremunerated. The resulting material is a Web-enabled resource providing contract strategy and tactics, sample contract forms, assessments, “e-book format” articles, and an ongoing case study scenario.
